Gifts Arrive via UPS

Gift Arrival:
The gifts will arrive approximately 5-10 days before your sale begins, unless otherwise stated on the agreement. To expedite and simplify your shop setup, follow these five steps:

  1. Start by sorting your boxes in the order labeled “Box 1,” “Box 2,” “Box 3,” and so on. In the case of a large shop, there may be multiple “Box 1s,” “Box 2s,” “Box 3,” and so forth.
  2. Find “Box #1” marked “Open This Box First”; it’s among the “Box 1s.” Inside, you’ll find the Chairperson Packet, pre-paid return labels, and pre-priced tent cards with pictures of each gift for setup. All “Box 1s” include tablecloths and gift bags, open them next and get out all your tablecloths and gift bags. Remember to keep the original boxes, chairperson materials, and UPS pre-paid return labels for returning the merchandise.
  3. Set up a minimum of four tables. If you have extra space, adjust accordingly. Allocate one for female gifts (mom/grandma/aunt), one for male gifts (dad/grandpa/uncle & teachers), one for kids’ gifts (girls/boys/sister/brother/baby & pets), and one for checkout & gift bags. Place your cashier near the entrance/exit. Cover tables with provided tablecloths. Arrange tent cards on tables in order of lowest to highest price by category. This will also correspond to the budget envelope and make shopping easy!
  4. Begin unpacking gifts, using the packing list inside of each box. There are pictures on the packing list to make finding the items easy. Place items on tables, matching the pre-priced tent cards with pictures. Assign one person per table/category (Female, Male, Kids). Place enough of each item on the table to start your sale and store extra inventory in the boxes under/behind tables, the outside of every box is labeled with a packing list, for easy restocking. Please dispose of any gifts that may have become damaged during shipping.
  5. Create a festive atmosphere with holiday music and colorful decorations. Encourage volunteers to dress in fun holiday outfits.
